be careful there is 2 hotels in Alesund with the name Quality hotel, i ended up at the wrong one first, but a short taxi ride got me to the right location. on arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly check in was quick and easy and i was off to my room, which was basic but comfortable i had what i needed bed was comfy and i slept great until the ferry arrived and began docking at 2 am this was a massive calamity with thrusters firing and people shouting and engines revving all just a few feet from my bedroom window.

Excellent location for Havila/Gurtigruten passengers getting off their boats at midnight. Great breakfast bugfet - fun games/lounge area. Super close to all the action on the pedestrian shopping street and 15 min walk to pretty much everything! Big room - good shower pressure. Comfy beds and late checkout option (thanks Samuel at the front desk!).

This hotel is in general ok and surely one of the best in Ålesund to stay, however I need to acknowledge, that when it belonged to the previous owner/hotel chain, I'd say it was a little better. Still the rooms are ok, quite comfy, bed is ok and the location is fine (however Ålesund is so small, that any centre location is fine). The iron in the room is modern and has the steam function, which is very important, when you travel on business and have to make your suits look nice and ready to wear after the suitcase.

For Breakfast you have everything available and fresh. The Sea View is awesome from the restaurant but gulls may steal your fish if you want be cautious ) Brianna in the kitchen is really helpful and tries to do her best. A wonderful girl.

I was certainly captivated by the room design, very boutique hotel. My stay was very brief connecting to a flight. I was not able to enjoy the facility to a fullness. When I return to this part of Norway, I will certainly keep this hotel on my list to stay again.

Excellent Breakfast. Location is damm good, touching the sea. Walking distance. Very friendly staff. Must play the game in reception area. Very good seating area in the lobby. Parking is freee after 5pm in nearby roads (just 1min away). Old town (German style) is just talking distance. You can actually see Alesund in 1hr by walking. Must visit Aksla View Point (can go by car in 10mins drive) or can walk up (entrance is just 100ft away from Hotel).

1) Nice location “ Downtown” & wonderful staff. 2) Breakfast is delicious & varied. 3) only 10 Min to the main buss station & Port; so Easy to reach the most tourism places. 4) Halal Restaurants & supermarket can be reached easily. For Sure I’m going to rebook next time

Clean and comfortable room with a good view. Good lounge facility. Perfect location for exploring on foot and we found free overnight parking close by. Unfortunately we could not book a meal until late in the restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Good breakfast available.

The location is very close to the center and very close and behind you the sea and the views of the rooms on the sea are very beautiful. The side building of the hotel has ships coming from Bergen and other cities. The breakfast is wonderful and varied. The hotel lobby is wonderful, quiet and very elegant. The staff is very wonderful and helpful and they try to serve you as much as possible. A quiet area and nice food. Delicious, and the people of Norway are very nice, calm, cooperative and welcoming to everyone. I loved the country and its people. A big thank you to everyone. If I come to this city, I will only live in this beautiful hotel. Greetings

2 minute walk from Hurtigruten terminal. Good location for town centre. Great breakfast selection. Friendly staff. Comfortable lounge area with shuffle board when waiting for a late ferry departure!
